Do you know who you work for?  Brad Deery, the owner and president of Deery Brothers, lives in right here in Burlington. Brad was nominated for Time Magazines Dealer of the Year for 2014.  He is a hands-on dealer and maintains an open-door policy for all team members. The Deery Family is very involved in their community, sponsoring many local sports team and events.

Our community:

Burlington and West Burlington form the heart of Des Moines County Iowa with a population of 50,000.  Burlington, located on the banks of the Mississippi River, is a rural community located at the crossroads of US Highways 61 and 34 placing it an equal distance to both Chicago and St Louis.  Our town is one of the oldest in the state of Iowa with a rich and diverse background.  Southeast Iowa and West Central Illinois support some of the Midwest’s richest fish and wildlife habitats providing excellent hunting and fishing. Racing fans appreciate having 34 Raceway just down the road from the dealership which offers IMCA Modified, stock cars and sport mods along with 305 Sprints.  Baseball fans love having the minor league baseball Burlington Bees right in the heart of town. What we want from you:

Technician Responsibilities

* Diagnosis and repair – all areas of automotive and light truck repair.

* Adequately explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-technical individuals, including employees and customers.

* Continuously learn new technical information through formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology.

* Maintain an organized, clean, and neat work area.

* Maintain factory certification standards with GM, Toyota, Nissan or Mazda

Technician Requirements

* ASE certification is preferred.

* Strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving, and automotive repair experience.

* A customer-focused attitude to go along with a high level of motivation and energy.
